Introduction: This guidelines is degined to supplement the information contained on the CIBN Online Scratch Card. The Scratch Card allows three uses for one membership registration number.

Checking your Examination result through the Telephone:

Dial any of the following phone numbers 01- 2703490, 2703491, 2703492, 2703493, (GSM) 0802 - 2901805, 2901807, 2901808, 2901809 and wait for message.

Voice Message: "Please enter the six numerical character part of your Membership Number to access this service."

What to do: Enter the 6 (Six) numerical character part of your Membership Number to access this service. Ensure that you add appropriate number of Zeros to precede the numeric character part of your full Membership Number to make up to six digits e.g the numeric character of NA2456 should be entered as 002456 or NA18777 should be entered as 018777. If there is a letter after your numeric number, please ignore it.

Voice Message: "Please enter the first alphabet of your surname. You can do this by pressing the key with the corresponding letter until you hear it being called".

What to do: Press the key with the corresponding letter on your telephone set until you hear the first letter of your surname being pronounced, e.g if your Surname is Yusuf, press the button 9 on your phone three times to hear the alphabet Y.

A message will follow telling you that this information is for the candidate with your membership number.
If your input is incorrect, press * to cancel, and then try again.

Voice Message:"Please enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch Card to check your result."

What to do: Scratch off the covered area at the back of your Scratch Card to find your PIN. Enter your PIN number as written on the back of your Scratch Card. Your results indicating your courses and grades obtained will be dictated to you.


Checking your Examination result through the Internet:

Log on to our website at www.cibnnigeria.org.
At the Home Page, click on the CIBN Online column at the right hand side of the page to link you up to the CIBN Online web page.

However, you could also log on direct to the online web page at www.cibnonline.org from any webpage on the internet.

Enter your Membership Number in the appropriate field on the Examination Results Checker Column as indicated in the preceeding instructions on the page, ensuring you add appropriate number of zeros to make up six digits

For example, if your number is NA1234, please enter NA001234 or if your number is NA18777, enter NA018777. If your number consist of a letter at the end of your Membership Number, please ignore it, e.g. if your number is NA017654E, enter only NA017654.

Select the examination "Diet" you wish to check from the drop-down list. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) as written on the back of your Scratch Card. Click on Submit and all detailed results will be displayed on the screen.

To send to E-mail and/or print, click "Send to E-mail" and enter your e-mail address. Click the Submit button. Your results will be sent automatically to your E-mail address that you provided.

Checking your Examination result through the Short Message Service (SMS):

a.	Go to the text message option on your handset
b.	Enter your membership number in the manner described under Telephone and Internet above e.g. NA018777, press space and then enter your PIN.
c.	Press Send

How to download Past Questions, Answers and Examiners' report via Internet:

Log on to our website at www.cibnigeria.org. At the Home Page, click on the CIBN Online at the right hand side of the page to link you up to the CIBN Online web page. You could also log on direct to the online web page at www.cibnonline.org from any webpage on the internet.

To do this, follow these steps:

a.	Click "Examination Resources"
b.	Click the drop-down arrow button to select the year you want to download
c.	Click "List Resources."
d.	Click the diet (April or October) and then Click "List Resources."
e.	Click the drop-down arrow key.
f.	Click on the subject you wish to download and click "Get resource."
g.	Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and your E-mail address.
h.	Click submit.

A confirmation will appear that your request has been sent to your E-mail address.
